Figure 3 7. The line that says “Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection:” is where you’ll find the MAC address. Look for a line that says “Physical Address…… XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX.” The X’s represent the MAC Address. (Figure 4)
Figure 4 Once a MAC address has been obtained, it needs to be registered on the Internet by going to the website http://secure-server.uc.edu/UCit/Products/ISClient as shown in the below picture. The screen prompts for a username and password. Enter the required information. (Figure 5)
Figure 5 The next screen will be a security screen; check the box to accept the terms and click the “Accept Terms” button. (Figure 6)
Figure 6 On the following screen, click on “Wireless Registration” (Figure 7) and on the next screen (Figure 8) click on “Add Wireless Device”

Figure 8 This screen will allow the MAC address of the wireless card to be entered. The proper registration is XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (colons must be between the sets of numbers). (Figure 9)
Figure 9 Click on “Save Address” and now the MAC address is registered.
Once your device is registered, click the Certificate link to download the needed certificates for WPA use.
