The Employee and Labor Relations, Human Resources Department is responsible for investigations, counseling employees and managers, and disciplinary actions. Assists general management regarding developing, maintaining and improving employee relationships via communication, performance management, processing grievances and/or disputes as well as interpreting and conveying University policies.

Employee and Labor Relations is responsible for negotiation and/or administration of collective bargaining agreements for the nine (8) unions: AFSCME, FOP-ECD, FOP-ULEO, FOP-Supervisor, FOP-SO, IUOE, ONA, and SEIU representing university employees. We also develop, implement, and administer human resources policies and procedures for all university employees.
